I think it’s safe to say summer break is over and back-to-school time is upon us (or at least that’s probably a safe assumption if you’re reading this in the US or Canada).

On a personal note, today’s a big day in my little corner of the world. Right after I press “publish” on this message to you, I’ll be stretching my muscles and my heartstrings to move my biggest kiddo (now an adult, although I haven’t gotten used to it yet) into his new place for his freshman year of college. It’s going to be a whole new season for my little family—and for me. And although I’m not quite sure how to leave half of my heart in a college dorm room while going home and getting back to work on everything else, I’m grateful that I even get to do this, grateful for the tears, grateful for all that’s ahead, grateful to be figuring it out. And grateful for every one of you who has reached out to send courage, advice, virtual hugs, and kind words.
