This was going to be the year.

I was finally going to stop writing myself in circles, squelch all of my self-doubt, resurrect one of my abandoned manuscripts or start a new one, and publish book number three.

I knew I could do it. I’ve done it twice before. I just had to carve out the time, drum up the energy, and make it happen.

But I didn’t do it.

The timing wasn’t right. My heart wasn’t there. As much as I tried, my intuition said wait. And I’m old enough to know better than to force it. So I didn’t publish a book this year.

That doesn’t mean I can’t share it with you.

It’s unfinished, unedited, and not quite ready for this great big world of ours. Honestly, it may never be ready. I’ll probably move forward with another project altogether. But there are a few beautiful parts of this project I can’t wait any longer to share. Because if I hate anything in this life it’s holding back.
