We want more adventure, happier days, something better to do together than argue over things that don’t matter, watch Netflix, and run from place to place together. We want a different kind of family togetherness.

I wrote this book for all of us in that boat, but mostly, I wrote this book for me. I need this book in my house. I need it on my shelf. I need to be able to pick it up and read through and find something – ANYTHING – that will help me love these grown young men who were my little baby boys just a few minutes ago. Something to help me show them how much they mean to me.
