Family Togetherness & Special Needs
In this episode, I'm interviewing Angela Rivas - a single mom (mum) from Australia who launched her children into the world of adulthood and set off on a globetrotting journey to celebrate families who have children with Down syndrome - and we're talking about breaking our preconceived notions about people with special needs and disabilities and leaning into what these families can teach us about family togetherness.
After all, isn't learning and growing what always happens when we lean into people?
This interview inspired me so much in the family togetherness department. (I even wrote a togetherness tip about it.) I sure hope it does the same for you.
