My Favorite Romance Novels
It might be the chilly weather that won’t go away here right now or the hearts all over the 14th day of this month on my calendar.
It might be something in the air or merely the presence of pink and red bags of candy at every grocery store cash register line.
It might just be that time of year. Every year when February rolls around (and sometimes even when it’s far, far away), I find myself in the mood for a good romance novel.
So today, I’m sharing three book stacks chock-full of my very favorite romance novels ⤵
These books have been my go-to reads for years now whenever I’m in the mood for a good romantic read. I’ve read most of them more than once — and some of them four times or more (don’t judge). Needless to say, I love them.
Thank You for Listening by Julia Whelan
What Happens in Amsterdam by Rachel Lynn Solomon
When in Rome by Sarah Adams
Same Time Next Summer by Annabel Monaghan
Happy Place by Emily Henry
Beach Read by Emily Henry
People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry
Book Lovers by Emily Henry
Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry
Funny Story by Emily Henry
And of course, the absolute #1 best romance novel of last year, Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid (it deserves to be a stack all on its own, if you ask me ~ I love it that much)⤵
Or, if you’re in the mood for spicy fantasy romance, you might love the Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas — a series I savored across two winters and now that I’ve finished it, I wish I could have made them last longer⤵
I hope you get to lose yourself a little this weekend in one of these — or all of them, no judgment here!
& I hope you’re taking care of yourself, my friend. If you’re feeling anything like I am, between the cold/crazy weather and the stuff in the news, some days feel so heavy that it feels like a necessity to find our own light wherever we can.
Good books can help, they really can.
Also, I’m here, if you ever want to chat.
💛
